Come on, something as easy as keeping a variable untouched is basic programming. Is there any way to add points through some cheat in the console?

This takes away the "wanting to keep playing" feeling.

Yeah, I had the same bug, it is a game bug related to the nano suit catalyst upgrade menu, everyone has this bug, and now I just stooped playing cause of it, They (Crytek dev) say they are fixing it and soon will give news, but we are unable to play cause of the pointless nano upgrade bug.

crytek think their all cool using their "awesome" cryengine but all these problems it's as if they never were taught how to make games

I have tried out a Trainer to try adding points I lost and make somehow the upgrades, but all trainers I've found were to the previous game and patch...so I stooped playing it cause the fun of the suit is also upgrading it to see what really you can achieve with its full power.

WTF. Just had the same thing happen to me. Was like 100 points off from getting the full upgrade for stealth...just checked 0 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please Crytek make an hotfix as soon as possible... unbelievable.

I am sure they are aware of this bug, cause also they told it in a similar thread, there are a lot of threads saying and stating this bug.

I believe they will fix it in the upcoming patch.

I do not play multiplayer, I only care about the single player campaign. I got all the way up to the last level no problem, points accumulating, spending them fine, save game at night and start over the next day, no problems. It wasn't until the very last level that I noticed I was not accumulating points anymore. Just said I had 0 points and no matter how many times I walk over a batch and it says I have collected some the suit says I have 0 points.

This is seriously starting to piss me off. I have started a new campaign, loaded previous saves, replayed levels and it never lets me collect points anymore. I need ONE more suit upgrade, that's it, ONE! It's 1200 friggin' points and I can't get it!

This is really a stupid problem to have. Something this basic and essential to the core gameplay needs to be patched. I cannot believe this was not found during testing. THIS IS WHY WE BETA TEST!!

As far as looks go...

I got it for PC because I wanted to see a good looking game. Gamestop warned me that I need to have a PC that can handle it - no problem, my rig can play the original cranked up to extreme, it should be able to handle this. Yeah... my WORK computer can play this game. It has the same requirements as Solitaire for petes sake... It's not even worth buying on the PC, I might as well have gotten it for XBOX. It looks just as good and at least with that I can get gamerscore points - and it doesn't have issues with the nanocatalyst accumulation!

I really really really hope this gets patched soon, it is seriously detracting from my enjoyment of the game.

i play sp mostly i playing C2 slowly one day 1 zone but at moment this bug resets it to zero so im now on hold till they patch why play if every day it resets to zero

I have this problem too, since yesterday there show it up this bug. After many try on the Mission "Semper Fi or Die" I gave up and closed the Game. I started the Game later on the Day and continue were i Stopped. After some trys i reconiced that the points no longer counted. I restart the Level but i didn`t work, when i closed the game and tried If it make a difference, to sign in or not. After I complete the most of the Mission the Counter started again. Only until i Closed the Game.

I hope they fix this bug soon.

omg this is really getting annoying ... I first though that I can't collect any nano points and don't have any is because of the story ... but now I realize this is a **** damn annoying bug ... I must have lost nearyl over 15k points by now :'( everytime i restart the game my counter resets to zero ... Crytek what the hell are you doing?!?

Every time I exit the game, I lose ALL the Nano Catalysts I've collected unless I use what I have to upgrade my Nanosuit... but that only works if I have enough. Needless to say, this makes upgrading VERY slow and arduous because I have to keep playing until I can collect enough catalysts for the upgrade I want, or I lose it all and have to start over!! I don't have time for this! I'm toward the end of the campaign and I should've had all the upgrades by now!

Some of the very good upgrades require (at least) several thousand catalysts, and I'm having trouble killing Ceph because I don't have upgrades that I should've acquired much earlier in the game. It's extremely time consuming and difficult. Unecessarily, I might add. This bug is no longer irritating, it's angering, and it needs to be fixed ASAP.

In single player you can use CheatEngine to modify the number of catalysts you have. You don't really need a trainer.

Has it been fixed with the latest patch ? I haven't seen anything in the changelog.

It's quite a gamebreaker for me and I refuse to keep playing if it's not fixed
