I changed my account password on this website, but when I log in in the game, it will only accept my old password. The forums will only accept my new one.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm thinking that if I could manually delete my account info from this computer, it would be forced to check my credentials against the server and my new password would work.

I thought if I logged in as someone else it would force game would forget my account info. I made a dummy account and successfully logged in under it, told it to remember the details, and logged in and out a few times. But when I tried to log in with my real account, it still wanted my old password.

Any thoughts? Anyone?

OK, I just had a brainwave. I can change the password on my dummy account, which tells me the problem isn't on my end. It must be on the server.

I've had this account for a while. I've used it for Crysis Wars and the Crysis 2 demo. I also can't download the LE content. I've redeemed my code; I just don't have the goods.

I'm mentioning all this in the hopes that Crytek can glean some information from my experience. Judging by what I've read, it seems like people with old accounts are having problems with their account info (like passwords and DLC permissions) transferring to their systems.

I had hoped that the patch would fix this, but I still have the same problem. The in-game login screen will still only accept my old password.

Bumping in the hope that this catches someone's eye.

i too was also hoping the patch would fix this, ive contacted ea.. they say to talk to crytek.. and crytek says talk to ea lol


i just want my platinum dogtag and other bonus crap.. at this point though ill lose ranks if this issue ever gets fixed and "starts" me at rank 5.
