Judging by the sales data for Crysis 2, sadly I don't see it happening. Some of you douchers probably don't care, but it's definately not getting anywhere near the sales it deserves

So... When did Crysis 2 have bad sales?
The weekly sales of the 360 version alone are second to Pokemon Black/White.

Why wouldn't it? The series went burger so we'll see plenty of spinoffs until the previously awesome name has been svcked dry.

So the cliffhanger is totally pointless, and that all the Ceph dormant around the world will suddenly dissapear, and Alcopops/Prophet will just run around New York in the N2?

i heard from a reliable source that Crytek has already finished the storyline for Crysis 3, no joke.

The story is already entirely mapped out. Whether Crysis 3 will happen or not is yet to be seen. Its doubtful the sales will surpass Crysis 2s considering the masses of problems the game has, especially with certain GPU configurations.

I had a blast with crysis 2, and that made me buy crysis 1 and warhead aswell (to get the whole thing). Anyway I seriously hope a crysis 3 comes out, but first, lets have some SP DLC or an expansion pack or something, for crysis 2, the story was, imo, very very good. I was definitely entertained throughout the whole thing.

It'll probably sell as much as crysis 1 did. So pretty well (4m copies for C1, won't happen again for PC as C2 is an inferior game in a few regards, but it'll hit 2m maybe on PC and about 6m across all platform). Enough to make a sequel.

If sales are good, EA will fund it. The question is will the game be any good?

There might be/probably will be a Crysis 3, but I won't buy it. Not after this mess. For that matter, I doubt I'll pre-order ANY game again. yes, including BF3. ya hear that EA?

Oh incidentally, sales did really well in the UK. Not sure what they did in the states. *shrug*

This is just entertainment. If I like a movie, I'll buy the dvd and might see the sequel. If the sequel tanks, you're going to have to dish out a LOT of advertisemant money to get me to see the next.

Let me tell you if this company ever release another game i won't buy it and i am sure alot of angry customers won't buy it neither they have released a game that is almost unplayable by most of the people due to connectivity issue that they cant even figure out how to fix.
