I use my 65inch Mitsubishi TV as my computer monitor. The game starts out in a resolution that my TV does not support so i need some help on how to change the default resolution when the game starts up. I bought the game through steam so for some reason the normal "shortcut" on the desktop doesnt let me change the values.

my guess is you are using VGA or RGB cable system. Use digital cables like HDMI or DVI. digital outputs wont do that.

If you have Windows 7, go to C:\Users\\Saved Games\Crysis2 and edit game.cfg with Notepad. The contents are quite self-explanatory.
