There are so much cheater around so I ask again when will we get the next "update" against cheater ?

Im no Server Admin so I dont know on which system the anticheater modul runs.

I have to agree, there is so many cheaters on Crysis 2 servers.. this really should be fixed..but it needs a working anticheat or capable admins..

I don't post much, but here it goes. I am advlt pc gamer who enjoys putting the kids to bed and getting in a few games as a stress relief. Always been a Crysis fan and even though we didn't get what we expected with this game I am still trying to enjoy it. But I have to say with all the hacking that is going on at this time and no admin support in game I think I am more stressed after playing a couple of rounds then before I started playing. I was a long time BF2 player and a admin in the server I played on and we promptly took care of these asshats. But so far I don't see any help at all. Servers need human admins to be playing and controlling the hackers when they come in (programs can not control this - hackers will always find ways around software controlled anticheating programs). When they know that they will run rampant and ruin the game for us players that just want to play and have fun. Last night there was a player staying fulling cloaked at the time and moving so fast and shooting it was hilarious. A few people mentioned they would report this person to Crytek and get him banned, but I don't believe that anything would be done. I just have to say I can't wait for BF3 and true servers with real admins that control games. Crysis 2 will just be a diversion until then and will be made a coaster after that.

You said everything and you said it right man. Respect. I have to agree with everything. I really enjoy the game, but last week the multiplayer is unplayable cause of cheaters.. So ridiculous.. I don't understand why the game doesn't have common multiplayer like Bad Company 2 for example, with human admins.. And also I don't get that I can add friend, I can join a game where he is playing but I CANNOT SWITCH TEAMS??!! So I must play against him.. so stupid.. Like I said the Crysis 2 is really great and I don't regret the money for pre-order, but It still has too many issues..

I dont see 'obvious' cheaters that much since 1.2 although they are still there - I saw one guy shooting from cloak last night.

When I identify a definite cheater I warn the other players and leave the server instantly. That's the best thing you can do until better security measures are in place. It's not worth getting stressed over cheaters.

Don't you get dinged for leaving a match early?

Who gives a **** - all scoreboards and stats are so **** up since before 1.2 that I don't see that it matters. If they do get to the point where most cheaters are removed then I'm all for a global stats wipe. Of course this wont happen so just ignore the leaderboards and stats etc.

The game has lost it's fun for me since cheating is so rampant nowadays. We pay good money for this game and this is what we get?

i thought maybe patch 1.4 will make it playable, so i logged in game today, after 30min cheater with speedhack, aimbot and everything, he had after 40 seconds 10-0, so i left the game.. maybe next time after patch 1802.9...
