According to this, crysis 2 profits from Xbox360 sales reach 800 Millions! Nice!

You'll never find the exact figures unless Crytek or EA let us know. Digital sales such as Steam and EADM don't count in those figures, and neither do Amazon sales (IIRC). Considering these three are some pretty big players in bringing in the sales (especially for PC), it undoubtedly sold a helluva lot more than we think.

That being said, almost everyone I know who bought the game has traded it in. If we could have figures for returns, trade-ins and current server numbers I'm sure we'd see how the game is really doing.

I keep finding reports that Crysis 2, Dead Space 2, and Dragon Age 2 have sold over 2mil..........along with shipped over 2 million.Hopefully the former.

Impressive sales results for Crytek there. Shame that total user satisfaction for the game isn't quite up to scratch as well...

Well considering how good sales usually entail some DLC, then yeah I kinda do care.

meh.. If they actually came out with some decent PC DLC I'd consider getting it on my rig, but that's unlikely to happen.

You can pretty much guarantee it'll be more of the same multiplatform sized maps.. The only difference between them and CoD map packs, is that people will buy CoD map packs.

.. I am interested in what modders can come up with though .. let's just hope they can come up with something before it's too late, and most of the players have moved on.

That website says the PC version has sold about 180,000 copies. If I look at the online leaderboard for the PC version, there are almost 300,000 people in the list. Something isn't right here.

Crytek hasn't wiped out most of the former pirate accounts on the leaderboards, but based on what happened when they killed the switch on the pirates was that more than half of the online players were gutted out. Leaving quite a lot of unpopulated servers.

Although there were a **** ton of pirates, I wouldn't sugegst it was anywhere near that proportion. Steam and EADM sales probably accounted for most of that difference.
