Back when we have Maximum

Back when we have Maximum Speed, Strength, Armor, Crytek, Crysis, Alien and et cetera, everything sound undeniably cooler. I can feel the MAXIMUMness throughout Crysis. I can feel the adrenaline and speed when sprinting and sweeping across the island. I can feel the power, throne, crown, king of the island when grabbing a Korean soldiers or aliens. I can feel the epicness of the aliens (which now the aliens appear absolutely puny in Crysis 2). I can really swim with the fishes (until a big white shark kill me).

Eventhough Nanosuit 1.0 is indeed weaker than Nanosuit 2.0 but the maximum feeling is not longer there. Things are feeling a bit more normalized or toned down. The wild jungles and beautiful nature scenery is long gone (though New York isn't that bad). The "friendly" Psycho, "talkative" Nomad, "happy" Prophet are all rest in pieces. All that left is a lone, emo, mute, faceless soldier named Alcatraz (who probably has no past, no background and no friend) wearing the world most advanced suit and saving New York.

Maximum Radar, Maximum Nanosuit. They are just merely an illusion to the eyes writing "Maximum". The Nanosuit nor the comm are mentioning the term "Maximum" (Or so I heard from Crysis 2).

Armor mode? Power mode? Stealth mode? No No No! Unacceptable. They don't win by a mile.

Did Crytek removed the "Maximum" sound for they know Crysis 2 won't be awesome on console?

Did Crytek removed the "Maximum" sound for they think "Mode" sound more like professional?

Did Crytek removed the "Maximum" sound because it became a internet meme (Oh Really?)?

I just creating a thread and leaving the suspense. Or I creating a thread to remind people the [totally awesome, cool, exciting, sixy, (any good adjective)] term "Maximum"? What is the secret hiding behind the Crynet's director, Cevat Yerli and Crytek's CEO, Jacob Hargreave?


[Off the record: Why SCAR has no silencer unlike Crysis 1? Design degraded after 3 years of (Don't know what happen at all?)?]

The SCAR has no silencer so the SCARAB can be different, despite being very similar.
The SCAR has great range and firepower, but you can't silence it.
The SCARAB isn't that good for long range, but you can silence it.
So if you want long range AND silence, too bad, because tradeoffs need to be made :)

I don't really mind about SCAR without silencer. :) Just curious what happens in the World of Crysis.

ok did you know that crysis 2 had a silencer for the scar before it was (the game)release just watch the little video of the module cloak tracker in the video (nanosuit showroom)you see the scar silenced go check now i would like the scar silenced.

I knew there was gonna be something wrong with the game when it didnt say "MAXIMUM GAME" in the beginning... i was like, "uh oh.. Did I miss it?" .. and it just never came..
