This can only happen if as stated, PC gamers are using a controller (the game would check and then allow access to console servers) because i think its pretty well known that m+k owns controller so thats the only way it could be fair. People say cross platform between consoles for fps's wont work, but there are a number of options, co op could be one where everyone is all working together and therefore m+k advantage isn't a big deal. But co op in Crysis? Unlikely..

But you are talking between consoles and PC, not only between consoles. I agree with you in that point, but if only "console controllers" for PC are allowed, there is no problem .

I think it's easier not to allow M+k in PC's. As well as that, I prefer to play with pad (yes, perhaps it sounds crazy for people who always use to play in PC, like me before I bought the PS3, but when you play a lot and you get use to the pad it's more confortable) but it's true that M+k is a faster combination, with no doubt.

Well i say they should do it, I mean it would be good to finaly put the mouse+keyboard VS controller war to one side... and it would also bring sales up big time for crytek... people would buy crysis 2 like mad if it was a cross platform muiltplayer.

Just make seperate serveres for it so you can chooose weather or not you want to play crossplatform, since I'm sure there would be people on console not confidant enought to go up head to head with PC gamers... and I'm sure alot of PC gamers wouldn't want to put with your typical console noobs.

But none the less it would be really fun, and it's annoying having friends that have the same game as you but you can't game with them due to them using other plaforms.

There would have to be special crossplatform servers that only allowed controllers, because PC gamers with mice and keyboards against console players with controllers will result in a massacre.
