Was playing with a cheater this evening and he was very friendly even if I wasnt 2 him.
According to him there were console commands who wasnt locked that allowed him to cheat.

If this is the case its **** mega easy for crytek to lock em?!?

Lol so Crytek locks all of the commands in singleplayer for no reason. Multiplayer commands are still used to hack.

Saw cheater in 3 games today, so it's still not anticheat free. He had aimbot 100% , not sure for other things.

Crytek needs to add a vote kick function?! or something! there is no admins in this game?!?!?

I think vote kick is good but too stupid.
When someones play exceptionally good they get kicked. I saw this a lot from BF2.

Vote kick never works.There's always some moron who abuses it and tries kicking innocent players, and there's always other morons who F1 it and you end up being kicked because you're winning.

It just needs a good anti-cheat system. But i'm doubtful as to whether C2 will ever see it. I get the feeling the cheaters are here to stay, and the game will stagnate.

If it's true that some of these cheats are simply activated via console commands in multiplayer, then that would definately constitute an epic fail.

yes he said so. And he also described it as technically not a cheat since everybody could easily activate it.

Depending on what advantage it gave him, i still see it as a cheat. He could say it's technically not a hack maybe, but he's still knowingly decieving people so he's a cheat.

What advantage did he have? Was he cloaked when firing? That seems the most widely used cheat at the moment.
