I've been using the advanced graphics app and been having this problem on random occasion when I start the game.

I'm pretty much maxed on all the settings with the app and when everything works right I get constant fps with almost no slowdown at any time. Even when everything appears to be working (intro skips, etc) I get into the game to find all the white/darker textures are messed up in some way.

Does anyone know if it's something related to the tool and the game not reading the autoexec file right? I really doubt it's my computer since it's more than enough to handle this game (gtx 460 overclocked, intel quad q9550 @ 2.83ghz). Any help would be appreciated.

It's something related to lazy creators. It's not bug it's low-res ugly feature. Solution: turn blur and glow TO THE MAX and you probably won't see it, right Crytek?
Edit: BTW config tools are working flawlesly, just the game you are trying to configure is broken.
