What servers have active Admins?

Post » Sat Mar 12, 2011 7:47 am

In light of the problems we've faced with cheaters I feel it would be a good time to post server names that are actively monitored. I played on a server yesterday where someone actually started kicking cheaters. And it was GOOD! Also, please include the game modes on your server. Thanks.

If they ever release a public version of the server software I could guarantee you a fair amount of admin-ing

Rconnect "works". You can also type rcon_connect addr:ADDRESS port:RCONPORT pass:RCONPASSWORD and admin that way. to use Rcon, the command is rcon_command

To Kick: rcon_command kick USERNAME

Yea nice one. I've been reading up on that over at GS.com. They are supposedly going to integrate rcon controls into peoples accounts but I'm not sure when that's going to happen so I might look into that soon. It just needs a command line change on your server. :)

Varxx, I knew you'd pop up here with something helpful. Thank you. Let's keep this thread active so the community has a source of server names to trust.

in rcon type: ban xxxxxx 0 (x indicate id, and 0 is for permaban)

you can ban and not indicate amount of time, and that will just kick. Or for time in minutes give a number after id.
