Weird Audio Issue ???

Post » Sun Mar 20, 2011 8:25 pm

For the most part the game plays pretty good a Few odd Graphics issues that can be over looked. But the one main issue that I seem to have in game is when you are in transition from one level to another. You know when Gould is talking to you and telling where to go and giving you info, as in when you have to protect Gould and you get grabbed and fall on the guy that grabbed you from helicopter and you end up on top of a roof. Well during that level transition, you just listening to Gould and with Graphics playing on the screen, Gould sounds like he is talking slow motion and that is a bit of clipping in the audio.

First is it meant to be like this? And if not what could the issue be or is there a work around to this. I'm unable to attach my DxDiag to this message. The txt Extension is not allowed.

Also see my System Specs in my profile.

(Signature not showing up with my Rig Specs? so here it is)

Yes, I had the same issue. Videos/music between missions was jumpy, more of a slideshow for me. I mad once a topic and nobody answered.

If I acces the movies later via unlocks/extras they play fine. They are jumpy only between missions.

EDIT: link to my old topic http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=13422

I had that same bug. Audio sounds like it's stretched... it sound horrible. Sometimes you can't even hear what he's talking about (Gould or whoever in that cutscenes between levels)

Well now its seems as though Good money is being and has been spent by us all and Received by EA / Crysis Developers and no one has taken the time to answer or even try to give any sort of support in this issue. I did not see the post you "Merode " made http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=13422

But I must say that considering that is an all new Cry Engine and the game being so long in Production, well to be honest here I honestly thought that C2 would be much better than C1. This is really starting to be a real disappointment, and you know on this current Rig I'm using here C1 Plays so well & smooth and the Cry engine that was used in C1 really put a strain on my old rig even on the low settings bu yet it played with no issues.

And I thank everyone that replied here.
