The gauss as it stands, with the way it's bullet works is perfect. Dishing out 115 damage and killing all their energy makes that second shot a breeze when they can't make it to the cover. However the fire rate of the gauss could be slightly faster by a few tenths of a second, as it stands 1 bullet per second really makes it such a niche weapon the only place to use it is in corners.

a .7-.8 fire rate would be an acceptable change just to let the user do more then just sit around and be stealthy with a giant rifle.
