LAN support

DO IT.

Remove experience gains from playing in LAN, and let it happen.

Why?

1.) It's nice to be able to play with just friends.

2.) If you're worried about software pirates being able to play multiplayer without a valid serial code, throw that excuse out the window, because they already are.

3.) More and more people are starting to hack, let us play with a group of people we know and trust, without being forced to deal with scores of hacking jackasses.

4.) Competitive reasons, both in-game and in business. Most FPS games with a focus on multiplayer come with LAN support, why not Crysis 2?

Unfortunately point no. 4 is not correct. Most of the games these days do not support LAN. Instead you have to rent a dedicated server for an additional fee. Not only leave they aside the whole community aside which in the past was responsible for additional FREE maps and goodies but also made sure that the game is being played for a long time and thus bought instead of copied. But hey, that's probably not in the interest of the companies.

They rather have you logged in 3 times (if it works at all) and then force you to play with some anonymous dump heads. I bought this game because the LAN mode was implemented first! Unfortunately it has been removed in the final stage for whatever reason. I'll definitely think twice the next time...

people are complaining about players playing with crack.. give us back the LAN MODE and the problem will be solved by itself

4 sure crackers will crack your new patch.. (im sure of that because crytec release the game prematurely and therefore crakers are w8ing to the new update to break it)

even "r_displayinfo" dont work... what a shame..

Left4Dead2 on PC is playable on a LAN and it's sold millions of copies. It's super-fun to sit with your friends and have a little face-to-face competition.

Definitely could use that in Crysis 2 (especially since the multiplayer is broken).
