i have had multiple game freezes as well in the sp and the mp for which i can't really find a fix. i hope someone can bring me a solution...

when it happens the game freezes for couple of seconds but i can still hear sound of the map and surroundings, then i get a light black screen for second or 2 and then a complete black screen also for second or two. And then the game pops up afterward and i'm able to game on.
not sure if my explanation is very good but i don't know how to explain otherwise.

anyway it's pretty annoying especially when you're shooting at someone in mp...

I've updated all my drivers of my hardware etc.

specs are:
Win 7 Ultimate 64bit
gigabyte EX58-UD5
intel i7 920 @ 4Ghz
HD5850
6gig ram

please help me out folks

Close any unnecessary program and try again. Maybe you should stop the service called windows event log too...
