Multiplayer is definitely better in Crysis Wars, larger maps, customizable, allows choosing the team you can, there is more tactical, there are vehicles, collect the weapons around, you can equip two guns of choice, and there are a pile of maps made ??by users from the sandbox.
The story in Crysis 2 is completely detached from Crysis, except of course the Prophet.
The aliens do not shoot more ice, no blue, no vehicle alien, no alien weapons to be collected.
The thing is certainly appreciated the movie-like graphics.
Crytek with these choices may not please all the fans and tried to expand sales to other users.
Great on CryEngine 3 but otherwise I was very disappointed.
I will definitely keep playing Crysis Wars that much more to Crysis 2, that's for sure.
Of course, console gamers will not ever understand what we feel REAL PC-Gamers.

business 101: If the product is not popular, change the product. Crysis wars was not popular as ppl were to busy COD4(as if it was innovative). I would have love to see crysis war 2 but Crytek could not take that risk

how about current online population and ping?

is ping well optimized, rarely have to feel laggy shot registration even with over 200 ping?.,,.

Lol, no, C1 and Wars solved its hacker problems long ago. Just try to join a protected server with a hack. You won't get 2 steps before your detected, kicked and banned.

I heard there are some active servers in U.S. and europ however, servers in europ and east coast is a bit too far located from where i play, so..

Mostly UK, Germany, Russia.

There's a lot of servers all over the world, but maps are BIG, so you need players. And the most populated are above. Population seems vary wildly at times. Sometimes a handful, sometimes 10 times that much.

Crysis 1 styled MP has major major flaws but has potential that blows away any of its shortcomings. It has the makings of an old school FPS game in the style of Quake, but that potential has yet to be realized because Crytek has no idea what the **** they are doing.
