i bought crysis 2 through steam 3 days before launch.... played it.... finished the single player and moved onto multiplayer.... it has been working fine up until tonight....

whenever i start the game... i do the whole press enter and click login...... then i click multiplayer and it says my key is invalid..... which is not possible as i paid for the game and it has worked online yesterday and previous occasions....

i've tried the re entering my cd key fix.... didnt work....

can someone help?

i paid good money like everyone else for the game... and now i'm rendered unable to play it

managed to get it sorted

contacted EA support.... went on the chat thingy with one of their guys..... he gave me a new serial... i tried it and it still didnt work :S so i emailed them the key and said it didnt work and to deactivate that key or give it to someone else or whatever......

then booted up crysis again... put in my old key.... and it worked O_o

no idea how but it must have been an incorrect character or something....

all i could advise for anyone else having this problem is check your key is input correctly and all in uppercase etc with dashes and if then it still doesnt work..... go annoy EA like i did.... seriously these guys are tech support... but tbh they are crap.... they tell us stuff we already know and suggest things that we would have already tried
