Some people called crysis 2's 3D 'fake' because it doesn't render 2 cameras - I haven't tested it though
The 3D isn't "true", but it's better than anything else.
1. Only a 1.5% performance hit
2. The screen becomes a window to the game world. Like the 3DS. This doesn't hurt your eyes.
3. There are no bugs
It still looks 3D, and that's what counts. The engine simulates what should happen without actually rendering the object twice.
To have 3D in Crysis 1, which was rated "good", you had to set shadows to medium, shaders to low, etc.
If you didn't do this there'd be bugs like double-vision of shadows, etc. This not good implementation.
So I wouldn't trust NVIDIA's ratings.
