After some thought, I decided to make an RP in a established area. The world of Fallout 1 is captivating and very well done. This is pre-NCR, so raiders control the land. This time period makes for a perfect RP. If you haven't played Fallout 1, I will explain the world later on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkBNKa2KXZE This will take place during the time of Fallout 1.

Backstory (Detailed, please.): He was born in the year 2136. His grandparents were survivors purely of luck, as they hid in the sewers of Los Angeles. Shortly after the bombs dropped, they left Los Angeles and went north, starting a farm. Alex was born the same farm that his grandparents built. Alex showed great promise, and read all he could on the world before the bombs. In doing so, he became incredibly adapt in repair.
When Alex turned 20, he grew restless on the farm. He grew tired of farming and wanted a better life. One night in 2156, Alex ran away from the farm, carrying only water, some clothes, and several books. On the way, he came across and old pre-war home that was still standing and locked. He kicked open the door and found even more books. He also found a Desert Eagle, three suits, and three fedoras, all of which he still has today.
Alex wandered endlessly for a year, living in old pre-war homes, until one day, he came across a water caravan from the Hub. After fixing the boss' gun, he hired Alex into the caravan on the spot. After coming back to the Hub, Alex knew he found his new home. After five years, Alex rose through the ranks and now has his own water caravan.

The World (Only the important cities are shown.)
The Hub: The main city in the Fallout 1 era. A trading city that supplies most of the regions water and food. It is also the largest city in the known world.
Vault 13: Home of the Vault Dweller. The water chip recently broke, and the Vault Dweller needs to find a new one.
Junktown: A town made of...you guessed it...junk. Founded by the Darkwater family, it is a small trading town.
Shady Sands: Founded by former residents of Vault 15, it is completely self sufficient. Due to the GECK, they grow their own food.
Necropolis: A ghoul city on the ruins of Bakersfield. Reported to be a dead city, traders rarely go into the town, choosing to go around instead.
Brotherhood: Home to the Brotherhood of Steel, which is a group of technology gatherers. Alex does trading with them.
The Boneyard: Known in the pre-war as Los Angeles, the Boneyard is endless ruins. Several groups of humans have made a life here, including the town of Adytum.
The Cathedral: Located inside the Boneyard, the Cathedral is home to the Children of the Cathedral, who worship the holy flame. Several weird things happen here that I won't spoil.
Military Base: Home to the mutants, this is where captured humans get dipped.
