can people stop posting about how there not going to buy anything from this company anymore?
getting all upset over a game, and complaining about long patch times?...god, most companys release patches monthly-quadmonthly.
just take a deep breath, calm down, have a big glass of coco, and have a break.
its just a game, and there doing here job, so just relax.
its still playable, ony things realy wrong are:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
char progress deletion - (backup your save.)

?Go to Brink in the Steams Library tab
?Right click and select “properties”
?Click the “set launch options” button
?Add the following line: +set save_enableBackups “0”
?Press “Ok” on the dialog and then “Close” to the close the properties window
?Open a new explorer and navigate to \userdata\user id\22350\remote\
?Copy the save game or one of the backups.
?Navigate to \userdata\user id\22350\local\base\ (Note that this folder should contain the file “brinkconfig.cfg” if the game has started at least once.)
?Paste the copied file here.
?Rename the file to a name that’s not “game.save” or one of the backups.

?Start Brink as normal
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

voip drops - (not a major problem, still playable)
sound drops occasionly - (not a major problem, still playable)
text glitches - (not a major problem, still playable)
server connection problems - (not a major problem, still playable singleplayer for the moment)
fps problems - (seems to only be the people with sub-decent computers....)

opening problems -
i suggest updating drivers to there second-most updated release, optimising your OS, and if thats still not working,
might just have to wait for an update. dont worry, theres more games to play than this one atm....

if theres more problems BESIDES these, post them.

but only problems....not complaints, or opinions...

sound completely vanishes from some games. playing a game without any sound is a killer. go and tell deaf people that losing hearing isnt a major thing to them.... its a major sense that people use all the time. plus you cant tell when people are shooting at you until you see blood then you die. it kills the fun for that map.

@"fps problems - (seems to only be the people with sub-decent computers....)" - look in my rig, what is sub-par about that?

get off your high horse. some people are annoyed that a decent rig cant play this BASIC game on decent settings. this game will require maybe 10% of the power that BF3 will need. there was a bloody good reason they didnt have a demo for this game. because many of us wouldnt have bought the game!

I understand everything except- "Open a new explorer and navigate to" does he mean open your browser? because two lines later he says "navigate to" just trying to clarify, the "Open a new explorer" thing kind of threw me...

Still having a blast playin this game, it hasn't bothered me enough to go back to black ops, and I love playin that game...
