PS3 voice chat?

Is it true that there's no voice chat for PS3 online co-op? What sense does this make? Please confirm or deny this, as my purchase depends on it.

Yes, there is voice chat. Make sure you have everything plugged in and ready to go before you load the game.

You sure for PS3? I was using it earlier on Brink with no issues, switched to Hunted, and... silence. It doesn't even say it on the back box.

So you're saying that if you're using a wired mic, it has to be plugged in when you pop in the game disc?

I am also having problems with voice chat. My cousin and I both turned on our mics but, there was no sound. Is it just a bug or something? Or maybe settings? I hope so. :sad:

I hope it's a bug. No point in a coop game without chat. My friend and I were also having this issue. Fun game so far but not being able to communicate has already proven challenging.

Drat, can't test tonight. Brother went offline early.

Seriously though, without voice chat this game goes from like a 9 to 6 or 7. Co-op game with no voice chat? Bad decision (if true). Patch it in if possible.

I can confirm that there is indeed voice chat. I played through the first chapter with a friend online. You need to make sure you nd your partner have your headsets turned on/plugged in/whatever before you boot up the game.
