Water problem, ocean water! LOW FPS WATER - SUPPORT PLZ

Post » Tue Dec 14, 2010 4:31 pm

My SPECS

Core i7 950 - (O.C 3.6 Ghz)
GeForce GTX 295 - Driver 267.24 Beta
6GB ram (O.C 1200 Mhz)
Windows 7 64x

PROBLEM:

I'm experiencing a strange lag on maps where there is the presence of much water, or oceans.

If I stand or walk without moving the mouse, the FPS rate is kept between 40 - 60 (FRAPS) if I move the mouse the rate drops dramatically to 10-20, only if I move the mouse towards the waters.

On maps where there is no water the game work normally, with 40 - 60 fps.

SLI is enabled by the profile. See image.

With this confg. i have no flikering textures. and GPUs 1 and 2, works on 99%...

FPS = amount of frames rendered in a second.
Frames = collection of still images with super-fast rendering for a smooth experience(screenshot is a single frame).
For multi-player location of server, upload/download speed depends.
Higher ping higher lag.

I also have this problem.

Game runs smoothly 40-60fps normally, but as soon as there is water in the scene the framerate drops to about 10fps.
This makes no sense to me, nothing short of halfing the resolution can make these missions playable. I can only guess that this has something to do with SLI.
