INTEL I7 QM 720 1,6 GH NVIDIA QUADRO FX 1800M Are Enough?

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 2:59 am

Hello, I would like to know, after having read the minimum requirements for running Crysis 2, if my laptop system is able to run it.

operating system: Windows 7 professional 64 bit;
RAM 8 GB;
CPU: INTEL I7 QM 720 1,6 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA QUADRO FX 1800M (1 Gb memory).

Thank you.

P.S.: After having run a demo version, it told me my GPU (it detected correctly) is not supported! Is it an issue that may be fixed please?

Not supported doesn't mean it won't work. It just means that it might have issues and if it does, tech support won't be able to provide any assistance.

As far as I know the Quadro series of graphics cards are meant for workstation PCs, not really games.

That's obvious, but they will run games although the performance will be less.

Why buy a none gaming laptop?

Because his doing CAD, other 3D or similar?

Back to topic: Sadly, I guess you won't have any fantastic experience. The GeForce series got better drivers for gaming.
