Seriously, after reading Altered Carbon, I have no respect for Crysis 2's storyline. Richard Morgan didn't devise a great storyline, HE COPIED HIS OLD WORK OVER. This isn't a NEW story, it's the same one I paid $8 on Amazon for.

Except this one cost me $69.99, and has a storyline that isn't coherent with Crysis 1 because GUESS WHAT RICHARD MORGAN? COPY PASTING AN OLD STORY INTO A DIFFERENT STORY ARC DOESN'T WORK. Gee, go figure! REALLY?

Takeshi Kovacs was the protagonist of Altered Carbon, and you compare him to Karl Ernst Rasch who has basically 0.01% involvement in Crysis 2? I have not read AC, but this doesn't make sense.

It's his personality that is copy pasted over. Kovacs is half-Alcatraz (rarely talks, his responses are mostly "oh" or "never heard of them" or some other short-form of assent) and half-Rasch (he appears triumphant near the end, which is completely unexpected)

Rasch is the only character who might be unique to Morgan's new list of characters as far as personality goes.

Which is still pretty bad.

And costs $69.99.
