so I have an older e machine gamer pc and my dad found an adapter , something like this http://www.techpowerup.com/?3272 and we got a gtx 580, I have another agp slot, so I was thinking of getting another gtx 580, but before I spend that much, I am wondering if a bigger amp like 1000 watts will give me the fps im looking for , I get 28-31 fps's on high right now at 1366x768, my amp I have now is a 550 we got when the old when went out . my other specs are 1024 gigabite rams, 250 gigabites hard drives, AMD 2800+ stock motherboard 1 dvd rom and 1 floppy rom, thanks

You need to listen to what the guys in the other thread you made told you. You need to really upgrade your motherboard, cpu, ram, psu, gpu. If you keep throwing all these other parts at it you will just wast your money until in time you have replaced all your parts and have a new machine.

If your still sitting on a motherboard with AGP interface I would chuck it out of the window and buy a new pc. Don't throw the GTX 580 away though, keep that one.
