I am using this account to post for an error in what used to be my primary "account."

While I am seemingly able to log in to gamesas using the email associated with my original gamesas/Crysis account, I cannot do so with the username associated with that account/email address (also associated with my GameSpy ID).

When I log in with the email address, the gamesas site displays my username as my email: "Hi, person@domain.com, welcome back!".

When I click "edit profile," hoping to resolve the issue, I'm taken to an empty page that only displays the header, nav and footer elements of the site. I cannot post to the forum using the email-only account.

Unfortunately, logging in this way did allow me to foolishly register my LE code, forever associating it with a broken account that cannot be used in-game or to access the forum.

This seemed to be an issue for a number of users, but the listing in the "Issues and Fixes" post seems to have shifted to reflect a "fix" (WORKAROUND) for another issue. One where seemingly functional gamesas accounts can not be used to access multiplayer in Crysis 2.

The broken-original-Crysis-account/email-only-gamesas-account issue does not appear to be resolved.
