i really want to convert to a pc gamer. i have my eye on this pc can anyone tell me if it will run crysis 2?

Im using Acer AS4745G.
It's Core i5 w/ 2GB DDR3 and HD 5470 512MB.

my dual core e8400 @ 3.00ghz and gts 250 1gb runs crysis 2 maxed no problem, yours is much more powerful then mine, all games will run good on urs

with a gtx 580 and I get 50 fps on high at 1600 x 900, im sure you can get around 40 fps on high maybe 22-28 on extreme because my graphics cards are way better than a 470 , I get 31 on extreme good luck

i have never been able to buy a rig before. what would be the best specs for maxing out crysis 2 and possibly bf3? what do you guys suggest? im just a console gamer seeing the light lol.

Don't buy a pre-build system, build from scratch and save. Also the parts they use in off the shelf systems are cheap like that novatech psu above that's a peak wattage not average like corsair psu's, it would probably be risky with a decent graphics card as the psu are about 400w average.

Like a user said earlier try to build a PC if you can. It is well worth it. By no means and I plugging EVGA. But, if you go to there forums http://www.evga.com/forums/ and sign up and go to the general section. Make a post stating how much max you are willing to spend and ask them to throw you together the best pc possible (parts list). The community will be more then happy to get you every single thing you need with all the links needed to check out the parts yourself. Then you can order the parts and give it a go at building the pc yourself. You will get a bunch of people throwing together a list. Then you can pick and choose what you want or need. I have down this many times with fantastic results.
