Crysis 2 stutters like Black Oops. The screen freezes after every few seconds. It does runs smooth when it doesn't. How can I fix this?

When I consider how inferior "modern" games' graphics look (really no improvement over original Crysis JMO) the thought of cards that are only 3 years old being out of date appalls me. I have a 570 myself yet even I see frame rate drops with many new games. It's not that the games require more, it's that they just aren't made that well. Look at the cartoon known as Black OPs. Horrible performance.
