So Crysis 2 already had 2 patches, it's been out for more than a month now but they still can't find a way not to let pirates join official servers. The whole background story of it (PC fanbase, consoleport, Crytek CEO crying about piracy, massive bugs on release) makes this situation with Crytek and Crysis 2 more pathetic than anything I have ever experienced in my gaming life so far.
This is not a fresh feeling I'm writing off now (I wasn't owned by hackers right now or anything), I haven't played for 2-3 days, I thought this through well and I'm calm. You utterly failed and you should be ashamed. Just sayin'.
I'm not a rich guy, I think through what I spend my money on, so right now I feel ripped off.
While I'm not a tech guy I still see that the 12 years old Quake 3 doesn't allow the kind of exploits Crysis 2 does, every important mechanism is calculated server-side while Crysis 2 can be turned upside down by a clientside hack and the server just doesn't seem to do anything to prevent that. Infinite energy and ammo? Noclip/speedhacks? Are you kidding me?
