Is the multiplayer dead already ?

I am playing each day, and always find many EA servers at any time of day, while using very narrow search. MP isn't dead at all.

I've stopped playing because the gameplay is simply boring.

They have done literally nothing inovative with it.

I think you've misinterupted the term "dead". If you look at how many copies they sold for the PC (I heard around 150,000 or so) the game has been out a month and the number of people playing MP at any given time, its pretty much dead. If they don't produce a patch in another week or two, I'd expect to see half of what you see playing today, which by then will be just a handful of players.

well pc players playing or not playing does not affect them financially. Should I guess they dont really care. They already have out money. Plus EA is known for horrible post release support. Also Crytek wants to sell engine more than the game so it makes sense they spend more time and energy on engine rather than the game.

Also the console SKUs are fairly stable and that demographic also buys their DLCs. So I wont hold my breath awaiting Crytek to display even a shred of decency or ethics

i'm back to Crysis wars more funny than C2 especially the Powerstruggle mode and hundreds maps.
The only way to save this game is: dedi server, 32 players and the possibility to make a map with SB2 editor......
