Should we just send it back!

Maybe the best way to communicate our impatience and dissatisfaction with Corporate EA is just to send the game back. The headlines from such a maneuver would do the job. Right now customers have little leverage, and are not yet impacting EA cost.

Luckily I got a hard copy from game stop. I returned my copy claiming it was broken and they let me switch it out for another game.

Try that instead, it does work.

I think the "limited edition" stuff is all full of crap, I walked into WALMART, yes, WALMART, and I saw 3 stacks of Crysis 2 "limited edition" copies right next to the 360 section...so they call it "limited?" And Pre-Order exclusive? I don't think so.

No.

But it's a great idea for money and saying no thanks and giving it back to the banks ;)

If we don't do something, then EA, COD, etc will keep putting out substandard games, because they know, marketing data, we won't respond. We need to voice our dissatisfaction in terms that Corporate executives understand, the bottom line.

Simple. Just pirate the next one. Of course, I pirate all my games before I decide whether or not to buy. That way I can see how bad the marketing teams lied about their product. And if I actually want to spend money to play online and get any manuals. Usually not.

yes they do but its a fact that if you pre-order you wil recieve a "limited edition", it just means thad you won't get the same stuf if you want to buy it lest say a year after the release. also the nano is more exclusive where can you find a nano whit out pre-ordering (if your lucky 1 in each gaming store, if some one did not pre-order. the limited just gives you a back-puch in mp.

It's realy easy to affect publishers. Make a list of publishers/developers:
Crytek - Crysis 2 - note: shi*ty game, do not buy any other Crytek game.
Blizzard - Diablo III - wierd looking gameplay, stupid demon hunter trailer, note: pirate first, buy later if it don't svcks.
Dice - BFBC2, Battlefield 2 free - awesome, buy anything they release :-)
etc.
If you want to affect game developing don't buy their inferior games.
