Dead Game

Well for me it is.

I never played any previous Crysis games - so had no biases or expectations for this game.

Not bothered about DX11 - it won't fix what's broken with the game. Not bothered about any future DLC either.

Bottom line - Crysis2 is a contrived, repetitive, on-rails shooter that's trying so hard to disguise itself as not being one.

Good luck with releasing the free editor etc. in the hope of bringing back players - but I'm pretty sure you've missed the boat on that one.

Whether you like it or not - there's more posts on this forum griping against the game than standing up for it.

And if Mr. Yerli is still having the dream where he hears... "And the Nobel Prize for Game Development goes to.... Crytek and Crysis 2!"... then his medication needs changing.

So what LOL? Maybe they ruined the game in the first place, but now the game is great... And for you there are 2 options: Either play the game or don't!

But that is the modern zeitgeist with EVERY major title these days. Expect a wave of booh and whine threads five minutes after the release of what ever game comes out in the future. It will be there. I'm getting myself some popcorn for when Battlefield3 drops in November (Playing BS Bingo I expect to read: consolish, port, Call of Duty, noob, and certainly more).

I played C2 yesterday evening. It was far from dead. And comparing it to other AAA-titles that came out in the last months, there are patches, DLC and mod tools coming out.

Time will tell, pessimism will not.

Okay, you done OP? I may as well say ANOTHER ONE OF THESE THREADS but man that should be obvious by now.

The game was screwed up at first, true, but Crytek has been FIXING it since then. Of course I am talking about multiplayer. I always loved the singleplayer but even the small bugs in THAT are being fixed or have been fixed. Crysis 2 is amazing now! Only a few balance issues and bugs to be fixed and the game will be how it should have been in launch. DX11 will make the graphcis look much better and we are getting the next sandbox editor and SDK VERY SOON.

You are an impatient idiot, now leave the forums :)

If you got nothing positive to say then why say anything at all?? Don't go around spreading hate in the forums. There's enough of that already. C'mon there must have been something you found amazing in the game like the graphics??
Cheer!!

Because those who like this game and play it don't rly bother to post in troll threads which are flooding this forum.

You have to understand human nature. People are FAR more willing to complain than to praise. When a game is good, they don't say anything unless asked or a situation requires it. When a game didn't live up to their expectations, they scream at the top of their lungs (figuratively of course). I see people unaware of their nature as intelligent monkeys.
