crysis voip + teamspeak + 3dvision = issue

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 7:52 am

i have a strange problem when using 3d vision with crysis 2 and i have teamspeak opened and voip enabled in multiplayer, even if i'm playing single player (haven't tried multiplayer yet).

basically everything looks fine for some minutes, then the games freezes for a couple of seconds, then monitor became black (like when it changes resolution or when it changes from 3d locked to 2d), then it goes back to normal 3d, but in the meantime teamspeak 3 has crashed without giving any message or wathever....

i've just bought the game today so i'm still testing it but it looks that if i go to multiplayer and i turn off voip everything goes fine.

also if i keep voip on and teamspeak opened and i play in 2d i have no issues, it's the combination of all 3 things that creates the problem

i'm using latest nvidia driver 270.61, teamspeak 3.0.0 beta 36 (build 12815) over win7 x64
My sound card is an integrated realtek hd audio, asus p5k.

hope this help, i'll write here again if i have more informations

So have you tried all combinations? (eg. teamspeak + 3d or voip + 3d or maybe even just plain 3d?)

yes, tried all combination, it looks the issue is present only when i use all 3 of the above
i need more time btw but i've just played perfectly for 30 minutes with 3dvision + teamspeak and crysis voip off.

when i started today i got 3 teampeak crashes during intro scenes

Dude just switch VOIP off if you are using teamspeak, you don't need it if you are talking in teamspeak otherwise your friends will just hear you echo which svcks. Lol.
