Is there a way to change the Hz frequency in this game?

On my Panasonic Full HDTV, 50fps on 50Hz makes the same smooth impression as 60fps on 60Hz.
When I play with extreme details on 1920x1080p resolution, I got 45-60fps, but I can clearly 'feel' when the framerate drops from 60fps to 45-55 on 60Hz.
An option for 50Hz would help keeping the smooth picture.
That's also a reason why Crysis 1 still looked very smooth without max. FPS for many people simply because it changes to 50Hz when you enable Vsync.

Can't say about AMD cards but if you happen to own one from the Nvidia family....

1: Go to the Nvidia control panel.
2: Find where it says something along the lines of "custom resolution"
3: Create a custom resolution of 1920*1080, 50 Hz
4: Activate it
5: Hopefully profit from your efforts

One way to produce a smoother 'ride' is to limit the FPS to something like 33 using a autoexec. Works like a charm!

Thank you for your response, but I'm aware of that.
It's just not comfortable to manually switch the frequency everytime just for this game. My current solution is a hotkey for changing 60Hz to 50Hz via the UltraMon tool. But it should only be temporary, Crytek has to implent an ingame frequency option just like 80% of all PC Games.

@s2G changing the fps is not exactly the same. For example if you walk through an area while you limit your frames to 50 per second via the advanced configtool @60Hz, it doesn't look that smooth as 60FPS @60Hz. But if you change your output to 50Hz and go to the exact same area, the 50fps @50Hz feels like 60fps @60Hz, you can test the difference with an anologstick holding the left or right direction, no stuttering at all.
