I know that your having a lot of trouble to release the dx 11, but some as me don't have a video card with dx 11, so dx 10 is the most advenced for us and would be very appreciated this release. I really don't know why you did this game in dx9, at least you could've done in dx 10. So here is my request for a dx 10 patch.
If they are going to do it at all, expect it in the far future. They are going to finish up DX11 first since a majority of the Crysis community runs this game on a custom PC with a DX11 graphics card and in addition to that they started with the DX11 patch already.
DX11 will fall back to DX10 on DX10 only Videocards. You will be able to use everything your card supports, as soon as the DX11 Path is integrated. Guess I learned something new there. Thanks for clearing it up.
most of DirectX 10 "features" are already in Cryengine 3, on Crysis 1 you could use tweaks to play on very high settings with DX9, and the difference was barely noticeable
DX11 includes awesome new features like tessellation and deffered shadows/lighting however these would be useless if the patch does not come out with higher resolution textures and Parallax Occlusion Mapping for both, DX9 and DX11 modes
Dx10 svcks, and so does Dx11, it lags more and doesn't look a great deal better
Your an idiot! DX11 runs WAY smoother on DX11 cards than DX9 applications. Once you enable all the high end features of DX11 then you start lagging as you would if you enabled all the high end features of DX10 and 9.
DX11 is a HUGE improvement of DX9 and a minor over 10.
