Full list of console variables in 1.4

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 12:29 pm

Some of you might have noticed already that a lot of autoexec.cfg commands don't work anymore. With this new patch, the list of available commands have been narrowed down to a very limited set.

On the plus side, these variables can be changed on the fly now. You can use the in-game console to change rendering features and see the results immediately.

Not all of these variables actually work. You can try changing g_radialBlur if you want, but it will stay set to 1. Some other variables might be stuck too. r_DisplayInfo doesn't seem to do anything.

Commands:
Code:
ban
ban_remove
ban_status
disconnect
disconnectchannel
gl_GameRules
gl_Map
kick
kickid
map
quit

WTF is the point of this? I had my stuff set just how I like it, like playing without a HUD, and they go and ruin it. Thanks for letting me know not to bother with the new patch.

Thanks Crytek for removing even more PC customisability. Maybe in your next patch you can get rid of all the console commands?
