1.4 patch doesn't stop hackers.

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 3:30 am

Finally, 1.4 patch is released. But according to a C2 hacking forum (already reported to devs)

Those hacks still work for online....

- Super Speed
- Super Jump
- Super Accuracy
- Infinite Energy (so Infinite Run, Nano Vision, Cloak, Armor Enhancer, etc)
- No Recoil

I hope Crytek can do something about this soon....

Umm sorry but 1.4 patch wasn't meant to stop hackers by disabling hacks, we just god "vote-kick" option to kick cheating people during game.

What he posted is actually a list off a hack site, apparently they can teleport too.

There will always be hackers in online multiplayer games. Even in BC2 I'm sure of, but THAT has the least amount of hackers, due to server admins (very dedicated admins, but unmoddable servers LOL).

*waits for sandbox 3/mods*

Then and only then will the community finally get some control over what they want on the servers

You realise that Crytek never mentioned the ability to mod Crysis 2, right? (read their post carefully)

Please get your facts straight and do not mislead people, here is the quote taken directly from Crymod.

First of all, we will be launching an Editor for Crysis 2 early in summer. This will allow you to build new maps, items and more custom content for Crysis 2.

After patch 1.4, I do feel there are less hacker, I think I only met 2 today. Maybe due to the pirates have to wait the new crack or whatever reason. But I don't think the honeymoon is going to be long, it is still up to Crytek to solve problem. After all, the game has been released for awhile, I do feel surprised for there is no effective anti-cheat method yet.

The hacking forum, which i got the list from, mocked Crytek's each patch release so hard... sigh

LOL! Try again.

An Editor is a map editor. It makes maps. It does not let you make anticheat.

A SDK lets you mod the game. It lets you modify and extend the actual game.

The CE3 SDK is a CE3 SDK, not a Crysis 2 SDK. It lets you make things with CE3, not modify Crysis 2. Crytek do not mention a C2 SDK anywhere. It's possible there will be one, but they haven't mentioned it.
