I played 3 hours with the new patch 1.4 and there are already so many cheaters.
What do you plan to do to eliminate these unfair players?
They were using speedhack-invisibility '100%-aimbot ..

I haven't seen any yet. Are you sure they weren't using Maximum Nanosuit or wasn't the fault of these terribly laggy Killcams? Another possibility is that you just svck. I'm sure they will come soon enough though.

I wouldn't call a headshot kill from one side of lighthouse straight to the other a terrible laggy killcam, like i have experienced it right after the patch. Its still cheaters using aim assist at least. Anyway cheaters got less, due to the server side changes that were introduced over the past 2 weeks, but don't expect 1.4 to dress any kind of cheater issue, since its pretty much just adressing gameplay issues.

I am glad Crytek adresses the cheater issues and maybe in some weeks we will finally see an almost cheat and hack free gameplay. It just needs time to get rid of them.

I haven't played the with the new patch yet, actually haven't played much lately because of the cheaters.

I understand the difficulty of fixing these bugs, but one thing I don't understand. How come 99% of top 1000 players got to level 50 with less than 5 hours of play? Are they all super players??? To me it's clear that they are all cheaters.

Also, how difficult would it be to calculate the maximum number of caps someone can make on a capture the relay and then ban anyone managing more? I mean, 26 caps within 2 minutes of playing a match is pretty easy to spot.

Saw 1 hacker after the patch today. And the vote kick didn't get rid of him. All in all this patch doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot besides making explosives more annoying. Oh welps, Brink comes out in exactly 2 weeks. There's also Section 8: Prejudice on May 4 and it's only $15.

I played for a few hours with the 1.4 patch, have'nt seen any cheaters, but I have seen others say they have, and truthfully it is very possible. I personally feel Crytek is not going after the cheaters/hackers the right way.

I know it's "impossible" to stop them ALL, but it can be reduced and you can make it harder for them to want to cheat if you make it more difficult to play the game once they get banned. They need to make it where verified hackers will not get back in with a simple CDkey change or simply reinstall of C2 with a new CDkey.

Make it to where those idiots have to "reformat" their harddrives if they "want to play again". It would simply be to much of a hassle to format each time in order to go and hack in C2 again. It can be done, but will they do it?

First day, first play, first server. The usual killcam/final kill obvious lvl5 player with K/D of 20/5, Grendel with aimbot and no recoil. And whatnot else.

Bye bye Crytek. Again. At least I gave it another shot with 1.4. Back to BC2 and MW2. Again.

Of course, the headshot across the lighthouse map through the trees is a common shot. Visor assist makes it straightforward for me (total noob to MP) get this shot fairly frequently (and I dont even adjust for wind shear!). Now when someone repeatedly does that with the first round out of an mk60...

Sometimes I think cheater paranoia hurts the game worse than cheaters themselves. Ahhh, terrorism.

There isn't a new hack (according to google) yet for 1.4 there may be private ones or ones in testing but I doubt that so called testing if rife.

I know because I always check the facts before making accusations.

Lol, I have achieved this with the scar post 1.4, it's not hard.

I often get blamed for cheating because I'm better than a lot of people when I play my best, many of you people need to get over yourselves and realise you're not the best player in the world just because other **** FPS' have made it so easy for you in the past to feel that way.

Maybe you just need to turn vsynch off and get a real gaming mouse like my razer death adder 3500 dpi and see how much fun it is.

I have not seen a single hacker, I can vouch for this and will report the instant I see one.
