Got an issue with keys.

Post » Thu Dec 30, 2010 11:27 pm

I bought a copy of the limited edition for the PC without knowing that my bf was going to purchase a copy for me through Steam. I unistalled the limited edition from my PC and installed the one from Steam, I gave the other copy to a friend of mine and well now when I go to do multiplayer, I have to constantly modify the key to the one from Steam from the one I had with the DVD. It won't save it. Who would I contact about it to change this? It is rather bit confusing on whether I need to contact Steam or EA? I'm going to post this to EA too. Anyone got any insight?

Enter the key, go to multiplayer, go back to single player and the key should save I think

That hasn't work, I've tried over and over again. And it's causing issues with the friend I gave the other copy to. :(

Its cause its locked onto your gamesas.com account i believe. you can only have one gamesas account per key. you can change your screen name but not the whole account.

I wonder if there is a way of rectifying this issue. I'd hate to lose what I already have on my acct. as I had the bonus DLC stuff on there.
