when i'm playing oblivion and talking to people they got no voice, it's only the text comming up.

but when i'm not talking to anyone i can hear them talk to eachother.

i have uninstalled the game and installed it again and i'm pretty sure it isn't mod's that does this.

help appreciated

Let's start with the obvious stuff. Under your Options > Audio menus, is Voice turned on?

Even though you said that mods are not the issue, I'll ask as most mods add unvoiced dialog for NPCs. Do you never get a sound out of NPCs - even quest NPCs? I mean, no vanilla dialog? Then there is a problem unrelated to mods...

@anithinks nope not a single voice, trought i can still read the text but it is a big lose for an rp game ( btw i just uninstalled the game just to be sure mod's aint the problem... again)

Try this, in the Oblivion Launcher make sure you only have the Oblivion esm loaded (temporarily) and boot up the game. Are you running the game from a disc?
