Ok.. most of the time I spent here was reading other's players problems, aside from the "unlocks not saving" and some glitches (like floating guns, or seeing players guns when they are cloaked) and of course the hackers / cheaters, my game ran pretty smooth.

That is "before" the 1.4.0.0 patch. Since this wonderful patch, I've been getting "your connection to the server has been lost", "Crysis 2 has stopped responding" (then crashes to desktop), and today have seen an "abundance of hackers". I literally feel like smashing my monitor sometimes because I'm getting so upset. I already was slightly disappointed with the "directX9 release", "no x64 bit mode", "unlocks not saving / loosing progress", but dealt with it cause other players seemed to have it worse than me. Now I just can not seem to play one smooth game, if I do get lucky and don't crash / get disconnected, then "hacky boy" shows up.

I just called some guy out on his "hacking", his screen name was "SmX-1" .. I asked him how he was "cloaked / invisible" in "Classic" gaming mode .. he responded, "I am just that good". I type out into chat for ALL, "You know SmX-1 is hacking, right?" .. He responded (of course), "Yeah, I know" .. what a douche bag. Then he said something like "I don't play to cheat, I cheat to play" .. wtf ever that means?

I would go on ranting and raving about the hackers... but it seems to be pointless. I've sent emails to "Crytek" and posted here in the forums, and still nothing seems to improve. I wonder if they even bother to read our posts?

All I know is I want some serious crack downs done on the hacking, it's completely out of control, if you are lucky, you can join a server without any and hopefully it stays full so they can not join, but there are alot of them out there. I've seen more hacking in Crysis 2 since it's release than I have in some games I play in a one year period.

So, what can we do? Nothing? Cry about it all the time and get no results? Just consider Crysis 2 a failure and say I lost $60.00? What?

I feel ya. I too have been patiently waiting and promoting how games always have bugs on release etc, etc. It's getting to the point that obvious things should have been fixed or changed by now. Instead, things seem to be getting a lil worse. I really do enjoy crysis 2 very much. The nanosuit adds a unique level of fun that no other game has. Only if everything worked like it's supposed to. -Sigh

Pretty much. The new patch just updated the problems I've been having, as opposed to resolving them. I feel like there should be a big "BETA" after Crysis 2. Sure, many games have updates after release, but this has felt like a grossly unfinished/unpolished product since the start.
