Bad framerate..

Ok, so Im one of those that has and HD5970 wich uses 2 GPU cores, so up until just recently I have chosen not to play the game at all except when there was a new "fix" or patch since i got terrible headaches from watching the flickering screen.

Now I started up with the latest AMD drivers and patch 1.4 because I heard that it was supposed to take away the flickering.... wich it did... BUT Im having awful framerate (atleast I think so)

When playing the game in window-mode earlier (wich disabled the second GPU) I ran around with about 60fps, and when I tried in fullscreen (wich had both GPU enabled but caused flickering) I had between 70-120fps.

Now when I started the game I (as told) was really happy that there wasn't any flickering left. BUT when I started the game and started to roam around, I had between 45-60fps WITH both cores being active and running 95-100%.

Has there been some changes? or are there still some fixes to be done?

CAN YOU LINK ME TO THE FLICKER FIX?!

I have a Radeon 6990.

as for the bad fps i think its just an optomization issue with that patch.

I just want to play the game!

I didn't use any fix.

I deleted my drivers for the graphic-card downloaded the newest and installed those. Then I patched Crysis2 to ver. 1.4

That did it for me.

I get too bad framerate, even i overclocked my video card and cpu to the max. And the strange thing is that i put cpu and gpu to stock freq. i get almost the same frame rate, maybe a little small, 4-5 fps
And in other games stock clocks vs max overclocked i get about +50fps, only in this it's the same fps.

Conclusion: This game doesn't know to improve performance when the hardware is overclocked. That means bad optimization. And they need to fix that issue, not the MP issues !! CMON CRYTEK !
