[Suggestion] Reduce Amount of Playlists - Keep Playerbase

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 10:05 am

I'm loving the Crysis 2 multiplayer experience, but there's one thing that concerns me. Playerbase. In the Xbox Live Activity Charts for April, it ended up in 13th place. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect it to be in the top 3 or even 5, perhaps, but when you take into consideration it's only been out over a month, it kinda' worries me.

To make matters worth, each game type is split into several smaller 'Modifiers' which is, to be frank, culling the playerbase even further. I can understand why Crytek put these in, but for the sake of keeping the playerbase up and stuff, I believe they should remove them.

Anyone else agree? Or is it just me?

1. You might want to post in the Xbox forum about this.
2. It's in 13th place because it's a new franchise on consoles and still trying to win loyal followers away from Halo/CoD.

I have posted it in th Xbox forum, too. I own a copy on both platforms however, so I saw it relevant to throw it up on here. I play multiplayer on consoles more as I just find it easier and simpler, but in the long run, this issue'll prove to be extremely taxing on the player base.
