While I don't agree that this game is ugly (it's not) you're right about the other points - especially correct that it's sickening to realise that this game is a blatant console port. It reminds me of FEAR2, the original was a mass success on the PC so the sequel gets made foremost for the consoles, PC secondly, and inevitably was a stinker.

I wish no success for greedy decisions like this.

as far as i can see, author said nothing about ugly game. he said "ugly textures" and it is true. the most of textures in the game are low-res
