Are there more then just the 3 killstreaks shown in the demo

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 10:37 am

In the retail release can we swap out the 3 killstreaks for different ones?

Will there be more then just the 3 killstreaks shown in the demo?

Honestly, I hope not. I would rather not have a bunch of imbalanced ridiculous killstreaks

Yes. If you go in and look at your killstreak stats (located under operation status), you will see that there are at least 3 other killstreaks. Radar Jammer, Nanosuit Jammer, and Maxiumum Nanosuit.

If you were able to play Pier 17 before it was taken off the playlist, you would see that Orbital Strike was replaced with Radar Jammer. It seems like they change with different maps.

Yeah i hope each map would have different killstreaks because some different killsteaks could be imbalance on some maps.

So the killstreaks will vary by map and be dictated by Crytek?

Perhaps. Maybe it's just a demo thing.

PwnedByNoob also brought up a great point. Orbital Strike on Pier 17 kinda sounds OP...lots of open area for it wouldn't be good.

No idea. The demo was just meant to feature Skyline, but for some reason Pier 17 was included in the download. Why they would have us download content that wouldn't be used is beyond me. I thought it was just a glitch, and that the map would be officially released as the demo goes on. We are getting closer and closer to the end date, so it is unlikely.

Pier 17 looks tons better then Skyline, though.

I would like that a lot better if there were different killstreaks with every map. It would add variety and keep it balanced at the same time.

that would add a bit of odd partiality to different maps over others, but it would be a genius innovation to a multiplayer

Maximum Nanosuit, eh?
All modes at once with unlimited energy and no decloak while shooting?
I would like that.

I heard it was added by mistake, and it was only meant for the press, for previews etc....

Tbh, tailoring killstreaks to maps will also help to give each map a certain 'flavor' to it. I do prefer that system if we have to have the stupid things :p

First of all, they're called Support Bonuses. Secondly, support bonuses are tied to maps. Each map would have different support bonuses. So yes, there will be more of them.
