aiming down the sights

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 5:12 am

ok, is there a way to change the speed when aiming down the sights. its too damn sensitive. I've tried the damn mouse sensitivity but it doesn't change it, it only changes when firing from the hip. So can i change it in an ini file or something?

No. Unless you use Weapon Pro, which increased the ADS speed even more. Otherwise it's a constant speed for everyone.

I think he meant the speed at which you can look around while ADS.

Ah. My bad. Change the Windows Mouse sensitivity speed then, or get a gaming mouse.

no, its not it. its the game. the speed is fine when firing from the hip, but as soon as i aim down the sights to shoot someone, it becomes extremely sensitive. One nudge over and i just end up spraying all over the place.

Your sensitivity is too high then...

Crysis 2 is a low low sensitivity game.

I do have a gaming mouse, and at this point i think im goin to have to increase the mouse sensitivity and then decrease the mouse dpi. I didn't want to have to resort to this but with crysis 2 i guess your gonna have to make due.

Try Maximum DPI with low sensitivity and a little or none acceleration..

You have to figure it out since you have to tune everything according to your specific layout.
mouse (dpi)
accelerations
and the speed you move your hand.

Do you also mean that "spraying all over the place", is that, you are not able to hit the target and bullets are going off course, and you miss the target?

If so, this happened to me and I got in the habit of holding down the left shift key when aiming down the sights. It reduces recoil and makes the shot more accurate. If you already do that, then sorry I don't know of another answer.

I know what you mean though by the difference in movement not aiming versus aiming and I am better with some weapons and attachments than others cause they all give a different speed, and it seems to slow up more when crouched, at least to me it does with some weapons.
