Longer stealth in Campaign?

I was just thinking about the stealth aspect of the game and in multiplayer it looks like it drains to fast as in Crysis1. Wouldnt you think if this is a multi million dollar suit made to protect Humanity as it stands, that the stealth would last a little longer? idk im just thinking outloud but let me know what you guy's think about the duration of the stealth ability?

The duration of the stealth is pefect. In fact in tne orginal Crysis cloaking is too powerful... It needs to be detectable by enemies within a certain range like 20 meters and a direct view on the target.

Actually in crysis 1 if you were ever directly in a enemies line of site and within like 10 metres or more and this is on normal difficulty they would start shooting or begin investigating etc but they would notice something and if you were right in front of them they would see you.

Not for me. I could run up to them up under their nose like half a meter away, and they just stare or pretend to investigate and shoot randomly (never hits). On Delta mode.

Stealth mode was coded to be completely undetectable in Crysis 1 aside from the pretend investigations to make it feel more immersive.

I don't know whats wrong with your stealth. But I am even playing on easy and they would see me from like 20 miles away.

Like i said, they give the allusion of seeing you. Do they actually pump rounds into your Nanosuit and kill you? I have played the singleplayer dozens of times and tested it, stealth is never ever detected to the point of death. I even watched a video of someone else testing it with the same results, so I know I'm not crazy... Maybe I can find that video.

stealth was one of the most fun aspects of crysis 1 single player and if they shorten the cloak time in crysis 2 single player i will be extremly dissapointed

Shorten the cloak time, stop cheating the game.

It is very powerful, and should be limited by short periods.
It is no fun to run around invisible with no tradeoff for a long time. It should stay this short.
Maybe it should be affected by light as well as speed.
I know if you run it drains quicker, but what if it drained alittle slower if you were in a dark corner or something.
Because i think they see you in darkness without cloak, anyone knows?
