Question for the PC forum

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 4:27 am

Do the developers actually communicate and respond to you guys on this forum?

The reason I ask is because the 360 forum has been exploding with a million threads all revolving around the issues that aren't being addressed and being completely ignored by Cry(insert name) since the day they were asked. We've received two patches (none of which fixed any of the major lag issues, map rotation problems, and glitches), and now there's word of a map pack and people on the consoles are considering it a slap in the face.

Most have quit playing and sold their copy. Others are waiting and are faithful enough to wait for a fix because of this game's massive potential.
It's just a serious slap in the face when they can actually ask for money for this download content when they released an unfinished product and refuse to communicate with their community about the issues making their game unplayable. (As a side note, even if I had the maps I couldn't play them because I never get to play anything other than Terminal or Skyline)

I've posted threads and written messages and emails and can't seem to get even a small word from anyone. It's discouraging to say the least.
Do you guys receive the same treatment?

Yep, guess they're still ashamed of the state of the game.

I guess it would be hard to get over if they really care. We'll keep reminding them why they should be though... :)

I'm definitely not proud at all to own it. The original on the other hand...will always have a place in my heart.

@OP, just look through the first few pages....not a lot of love from Crytek. I still have SLI flicker and Nvidia says it's a Crytek fix.

Also...somehow an Xbox version plays on my computer....still can't figure out a workaround, hopefully a patch is coming.

I am sorry that I bought this game over steam, so I am screwed and can not sell it.

Every few days I look into the forums to get amused by the way EA/ Crytek handle things. Havent touched the game for 3 weeks now as I can read that not much has changed.

Bought myself Plants vs Zombies which gave me a better time than Crysis 2 ;)

The only thing that makes me a little sad is the fact that with a little more polish here and there, more focus on pc ( better textures, dx11) and a good anti cheat system the game could have been the ****.

Also this policy of silence is another thing I totally dislike. Feels like talking to a wall from a customers perspective.
At least I can buy 4 more maps for another 10 Euros soon (guess if I will ;)
