The minimum specs to max the game

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 10:29 am

Ok, so we have the minimum specs to run the game, but I think some people are more interested in turning up the settings.

What do you think would be the minimum specs required to run the game on max and at least 40FPS? Anyone want to take a GUESS?

if crytek releases the recommended/optimum settings, it would stop the 843724982374983217403127401324701 million of people asking if their ultra-expensive pc is able to run it at max

40 FPS is garbage. You want 60 or bust.

I think a Quad Core CPU, 4Gb of ram and maybe a GTX 260 could pull that off, even at 40FPS.
Since they had to optimize their engine alot, so that the consoles could run it.
I'm sure those components can do it.

Unless people want V-Sync and Full AA and MSAA or whatever at the highest possible.
Although, I haven't seen those options from the screenshots I saw from the leaked version - which made me a bit sad, (BUT!), i'm sure they will make it too the final version of the game.

Hopefuly.

oh man...sorry...i didn't mean that you are showing off or anything... i just wanted to say if crytek released that info it would be better so that kind of post would be avoided... it wasn't for you or this topic in specific... sorry the misunderstanding

oh...and my guess:

Any Quad Core
4gb of ram
HD 5850 or equivalent in nvidia
