well, hopefully crytek won't be stupid enough to ignore steam so i'll just load up the game on day one (since it should be pre-loaded), set it all to very high and play the campaign :D

^This. I'm going to do the exact same thing, or maybe start off with 10-15 MP games then jump to the SP.

Get game from store at opening time (10am, pre-ordered)
Install on NEW computer that I will have built the day before (i7 2600k, GTX 590 if its out, 6gb DDR3 @ 2300mhz)
Set install path to my RAID 0 SSDs (550mb/s lol)
Beat single player
Try multi-player
See if there's an editor
More multiplayer

Got mine pre-ordered from Amazon.com (Xbox 360) with release day delivery. I'm staying home from school that day so I'll watch some reviews online in the morning while I wait for my package (UPS usually runs around 10 AM here). Unwrap it that baby, put it in my Xbox, start up the Single Player Campaign, and jizz my pants from the amazing graphics and gameplay! Beat the SP and hop online and spank some booty!

Well... first thing I'm going to do.. Buy the game, go to my girlfriend's house for a quickie, go home, play some awesome intense awesome music while installing, drink a couple of beer while listening to music.

After finish installing, I'll use fraps to test my frames per second in campaign for a couple of test run, play single player for a few hours than head to multiplayer and record some games.

Set it to maximum settings, and play single-player. Maybe try out multiplayer in between, at least just to try out.
If It comes with the editor, well, it may get messy.

I will definitely play SP first. Like I did on Crysis 1. I never finished the entire campaign, my goddamn TAC bugged and I couldnt kill the final boss.
Warhead was meh, didn't finish the first level.

I guess I will have to go at it COD style.
Head first into multiplayer so see where I am at as far as skill.
Never played it before so hey might be the first time I go negative in my first match on a game.
